Hello folks,

I am new to this site and getting used to navigating it. I am Director of Mueum Operations at the Cantigny First Division Museum in Wheaton, IL. We debuted a new website in March and I highly recommend taking a look. Under exhibits you will find an online exhibit about the experiences of the 1st ID in WWI. We are doing this to mark the 90th anniversary of the AEF in which the 1st ID led the way. Our online exhibit is called "In Their Words". WIth this exhibit we are delving into our archives for diaries, letters, and photographs of the soldiers at war. We are also supplementing this as much as we can with artifacts from our permanent collections. It will be rolled out in sections the first of which was forming the division and going to war called "Toward the Front", in a few days you will see a section on training, and soon we will put up a section on the battle of cantigny to mark the anniversary of that important first victory of the AEF in WWI. This is the link. Please check it out and tell me what you think. http://www.firstdivisionmuseum.org/museum/online/toward_the_front/default.aspx
