Carl Bobrow of the National Air and Space Museum is announcing a WWI aviation seminar on Saturday, 13 June, at the NASM Udvar-Hazy facility. There is no charge for this but he would like an RSVP. To do so or to get your name on the list for future seminars, please email him at BobrowC@si.edu . Carl's email announcement follows:

June 13th! Inaugural mid-Atlantic OTF meeting at NASM
Good afternoon,
We are pleased to announce that on Saturday June 13th 2009, there will be the first in series of quarterly meetings of the mid-Atlantic Chapter of the League of World War I Aviation Historians. These meetings will be held at the National Air and Space Museum’s facility at Dulles, The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center http://www.nasm.si.edu/museum/udvarhazy/
There is no formal membership required to attend therefore if you know of anyone who is interested in this aspect of aviation history they are most welcome.
The parent organization, the League of World War I Aviation Historians, http://www.overthefront.com/main/index.html publishes a periodic journal and there are dues for that, if anyone wants to join, they are welcome on their own to do so outside of this meeting.
Additional information will be forthcoming in the next week or two, particularly about the two presentations as well as the Member’s Works in Progress, Show-N-Tell session, but please put it on your calendar.
